ДОМ ИПАТЬЕВА– Мемориал Романовых - Трагическая кончина последнего царя Россия
Ipatiev House - Romanov Memorial - The tragic end of the last Czar of Russia
In 1918, Czar Nikolai II and all his family were executed by bolshevicks in a small town in Ural: Ekaterinburg. In 1977, the place of their execution, Ipatiev house, was demolished by order of Boris Yeltsin
Yet, since the fall of communism in Russia, the former site of the Ipatiev house has become a place of pilgrimage. If this house had not been destroyed, there's no doubt that it would be today a museum about the tragic end of the Romanovs.
Therefore, this site can be considered as a virtual museum about the tragic end of the Romanov family and about this historic place.
